Experience the fusion of movement and vocal expression with guided melodies set to an electronic music playlist. We’ll start with a brief introduction to foundational breathing and singing techniques before flowing into freeform movement inspired by the music. You’ll be invited to sing simple melodies using vowel sounds and emotional expression, with the option to participate in both movement and singing at your comfort level. Opportunities for improvised singing will also be included. Similar to a yoga practice, the session will conclude with a calming meditation. This is a unique opportunity to explore group singing in a freeform style that blends structure with creative experimentation.
