TEACHING
Madeline McNeill blends voice training with research to teach how emotions and mind are embodied processes.
PERFORMANCE
Madeline McNeill's performances are a complement of the arts and embodied cognition.
Madeline McNeill thinks with her body. An opera-trained singer, Madeline theorizes about how breath and vocal muscles throughout the torso, neck, and head contribute to cognition and creativity. She writes philosophical dialogue and composes music giving expression to her ideas. She gives talks, and produces salon events, inviting researchers, artists, and audiences to network and discuss ideas.
